Borden's Dairy WWII Victory Plaque

1942; Long Island Engraving Co., New York City

Wall plaque featuring the famous Borden Dairy Co. cow mascot and "spokescow" Elsie and her daughter Beulah.
This piece was a promotional item encouraging a US victory during WWII, and used Elsie and her daughter to beef up the promo due to their popularity. However, this author considers it "whey" over the top. It features a sepia-tone photo of the two cows inlaid in a wooden frame with an acrylic clear coat to provide protection and stability.

The plaque is in good condition and exhibits minor scratching to the acrylic clearcoat.
